Taylor Holt, PA joined REACH a little over three years ago and worked closely with Dr. Lauren Johnson when she first started at REACH. Taylor quickly advanced in her roles and responsibilities as did her patient care. She is now seeing patients at all levels of treatment, including those that are interested or know they might need in-vitro fertilization (IVF).
Taylor is one of the few who grew up in Charlotte and loves helping patients in her own community. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, traveling (before Covid-19), and spending time (safely and socially distanced of course) with family and friends. Since Covid-19 has stopped everyone from traveling, she has been doing a lot of cooking. “My favorite thing about cooking is trying different recipes and tweaking them as I go, especially Mexican food,” she says. Like the rest of the world, Taylor is looking forward to the end or control of Covid-19 so she can resume traveling. “I would love to explore Europe more including Ireland, France and Spain and try all the amazing food those places have to offer. I studied abroad in Italy for a summer, took a cooking class and had the best experience of my life.”
Taylor completed her undergraduate training at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, where she graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Psychology and Chemistry. She earned her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies at East Carolina University. She is a board-certified Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She has a passion for women’s health and plays an active role in REACH’s third-party reproduction team.
